Adjusting the intervals between pointclouds

This feature concerns iMapper Racer 1 & 2 only.

At the beginning of a scan or during the scanning process with iMapper, you have the option to adjust the intervals between the point clouds according to your preference.

To enter the setting mode, simply place your hand in front of the sensor within a range of 1 to 20 cm. Then, remove your hand with a quick vertical gesture, akin to a ninja's swift movement. Additionally, a beep tone will sound at either a slower or faster pace, indicating that the interval setting mode is activated when moving the hand in front of the laser within the range of 1-20 cm.

If your hand is positioned either too close or too far from the sensor (i.e. beyond the range of 1 to 20 cm) and when you do not hear the slow-paced or fast-paced signal tone, you are no longer in the setting mode.

The spacing between point clouds is determined by the proximity of your hand to the laser. Placing your hand closer to the laser results in smaller spacing between point clouds, whereas positioning it further away increases the spacing.
