Export Data to File: from iMapper to InSitu with ease

iMapper to InSitu: Step-By-Step Guide



Step 1: Draw your Areas

Use the area tool to draw the walls on your point clouds




Step 2: Export data to file


Simply click on the Export button, select the TXT option - make sure your file is in mm.

You will be able to select only the Walls (Area tool) option for export.

Then, simply click Export and your file will be saved in your downloads folder.




Step 3: Import files into InSitu and start drawing!


Every Software as different way to open or import dxf files

For InSitu go to File > Import > 2D file > Select and Open the desired .txt

Adjust to your usual settings. Now all you have to do is draw your walls along the lines.
