# How to change your platform's default Unit of Measure

###### Before measuring, you can configure the platform's unit of measurement. 

Here's how to do it:

1. Go to your account on the top right corner of your platform

2. Click on **Preferences**

3. When the pop up opens, choose your new default unit of measure and click **Apply**
