# How to create a new project and name it

### To create a new project: 

1. Click on the **Folder icon** on the top left corner of your screen.

2. Then click on the purple square **Create new project**.

3. Import the scans into your new project, and add them to your project.

### To rename your project:

1. On the top center of your screen you will see two frames with : **Untitled project #** and **Undefined location**

2. Click inside the frame **Untitled project #** to enter the name of your project 
3. Click inside the frame **Undefined location** to enter the location of the project or any other information of your choice. 

| Some companies that have multiple users on the same account use the **Undefined location** frame to insert the name of the Project Manager following the project, it is a way for them to find their project faster afterwards. When you click on the folder icon to open an existing project, you can then use the search bar to find your projects back:
