# How to import floorplans or photos in JPG to your iMapper project

Step by step guide on how to import floorplans or photos in JPG to your iMapper project


1. Click on the **+ button** to add file

2. A pop up will open where you can drag and drop your floorplans or photos in JPG

||| Note that at this stage you can only import JPG and XML formats.

3. (optional) Check that your images are not hidden in your project. Navigate to **Project files** and click on the eye icon, then click on **Images** to hide/unhide them.
