# The Tape Measure tool

###### Use the Tape Measure tool to measure anything on your projects.

1. Select the measurement tool from the toolbar.

2. Point to a starting point (do not hesitate to zoom in as much as possible) and validate with a left mouse click, then select an ending point and validate with a left mouse click.

3. The measurement appears on the left of the screen, at the bottom of the toolbar.

4. To exit the measurement tool, press the space key on your keyboard.
